Detail : Long Boat Racing is one of Thailand’s oldest traditional sports. There are a good number of long boat races across Thailand, staged in the communities located by riverside where the river’s tide is the highest. The fun and joy of the race has contributed to the unity of the community. The event is also related to the Buddhist’s merit making. Moreover, it shows Thai’s unique lifestyle and cultures which help to promote tourism in the community as well.
